How it works
How Batho Pele Investors makes money through our property rental portfolio — and how that funds your returns.
Where the money comes from
Batho Pele Investors is a property rental business. We do not gamble your money on markets or crypto — returns are funded by the rent our portfolio collects every month and the value our buildings gain over time.
1. You invest
You choose a package and pay into the Batho Pele investment account. Your capital is pooled with other investors into our property rental fund.
2. We buy & improve rental property
The pooled capital is used to acquire and refurbish residential and commercial units in high-demand South African rental nodes — townships, student areas, and city-edge suburbs where occupancy stays high.
3. Tenants pay monthly rent
Each unit is tenanted on a lease. Rent is collected monthly by our property management team, who also handle vetting, maintenance and arrears.
4. Rental income becomes your return
Rent collected, minus running costs, is the profit pool. A fixed share of that pool is paid to investors as the return quoted on your package — the balance funds the next property and our operating costs.
5. Value grows in the background
Beyond rent, the properties themselves appreciate. That capital growth strengthens the fund and lets us keep paying the stated returns even in slower rental months.
6. You get paid out
On your payout date your return is credited to your wallet. You can withdraw to your bank account or re-invest to compound.

Can I withdraw early?+
